Job Posting in Handshake

Those who have role access to post jobs in Handshake may do so by following the steps below.  Upon submission, the job will sit in "pending" status until a Student Employment Services team member has reviewed the posting.  This may take 1-3 business days to complete.  Once approved, the position will automatically be posted to start receiving applications on the date/time indicated in the posting details.  SES will assist with minor edits/updates if needed.  However, posting requests that fall outside of the standardized posting requirements will be denied. 

Jobs that will recruite both FWS and Non-FWS will need to be posted as two separate jobs in order for those searching specifically for FWS jobs to be reached as this is a filter option to students.  Create your initial posting with the FWS template and then use the Duplice a Job Posting option to create the Non-FWS job; updating applicable posting headers and other attributes before submitting for approval. 


Create a New Job Posting

1. Click  "Post a Job" from your home dashboard.

2. Complete each page of the job posting request as indicated below.

3. Preview the Job Posting

4. Save

SES will review and approve, communicate edit needs or decline.
