The National Student Employment Association (NSEA) declares the second full week in April to be National Student Employment Week. This was established to increase public awareness and to recognize students who work while attending college. It also recognizes supervisors that oversee the student experience by providing training and development that prepare students for their careers.
Student employees perform invaluable services with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. Setting aside a special week to draw the awareness of others is the perfect opportunity to show your appreciation.

Student Part-Time Job Fair at UC Merced! You are invited to participate:
UC Merced’s Workforce Onboarding Hub and Student Career Center invite campus departments, local businesses, and students to join us for an in-person Student Part-Time Job Fair. Job Fail will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Center Ballroom.
